Psychological Test: Which One is Not A Family?

Posted by InfoBook on August 02, 2020

Which One is Not A Family? Your Answer Will Reveal A Lot About Your Personality

The results fall into three categories. As shown in the picture, there are three families, a mother a father and a child in each one.
The question is this: which one out of the three is not a family? Although there is only one answer, whoever you choose will also give you enough clues about your personality.

If your answer is #1

You are not the most family-oriented person, and you might have grown without a strong father figure. As you have noticed, the father looks like he doesn’t care, and the mother keeps him away from the child.
You love to help others and try to make positive changes in other people’s lives, but you are not quite sure what a real family is.

If your answer is #2

You are a real family person, aware of the importance of it, and your family is always your priority. The parents in the picture are focused on themselves more, the woman is wearing a mini skirt, and the father is ignoring them.
You believe in strong and stable relationships, a loving marriage, and a happy environment for all family members.

If your answer is #3

This picture shows a happy and loving family, two parents who love and care for their child. If you believe this family is fake, you might have a traumatic psychological illness, as a result of living in a dysfunctional family.
If one of your parents has been an alcoholic, has used drugs, or suffered from a mental illness, your mind might recognize such an image for a family, and that is why you recognize this kind of family fake.

HOW YOUR SLEEPING POSITION AFFECTS YOUR HEALTH

Posted by InfoBook on August 02, 2020
In average, 25 years of our lives we spend sleeping. This is important because getting proper rest is essential to our overall well-being. Sleeping has many benefits – it not only revitalizes the body but also makes the brain work optimally.
Since time is very precious, it is of the utmost importance that the time spent sleeping is well spent. This article brings you an in-depth analysis of the various sleeping positions to help you choose the right one for yourself. Check them out!

1. SOLDIER POSITION

Also known as the soldier position, sleeping on your back with your hands at your sides is considered to be the best sleeping posture. This posture is similar to the Savasana pose in yoga, and it is known to have many health benefits.
Pros:
  • Perfect position to rest the spine, neck, and arms.
  • Helps improve the overall posture.
  • Reduces acid reflux.
  • Helps maintain perky breasts.
  • Cures insomnia.
  • Decreases the chances of headaches.
  • Prevents facial wrinkles.
Cons:
  • May aggravate snoring in people suffering from sleep apnea.
  • Can negatively affect a fetus.
  • Can cause lower back pain.
Solutions:
  • Try sleeping on your back without a pillow. It will keep your body in a neutral position and might help reduce snoring.
  • Using a large pillow under the back of your knees will help support the natural curve of your lower back.

2. STARFISH POSITION
In this position, a person lies on their back but with their arms up on both sides of their head.
Pros:
  • Excellent position to rest the spine and the neck.
  • Cures insomnia.
  • Decreases the chances of headaches.
  • It helps reduce acid reflux since the head is elevated and the stomach is able to sit below, so substances from the stomach can’t re-enter the esophagus.
  • Prevents facial wrinkles and skin breakouts.
Cons:
  • This posture may aggravate snoring in people suffering from sleep apnea.
  • The awkward position of the arms can exert pressure on the nerves in the shoulder, causing pain.
  • Can cause lower back pain.
Solution:
  • Avoid using a pillow while sleeping in this position to allow your head, neck, and spine to rest in a natural position.

3. LOG POSITION

While sleeping in this posture, you lie on your side with both arms positioned downward in a straight line. Sleeping on the left is considered one of the ideal sleeping positions as it offers quite a few health benefits.
Pros:
  • Ideal sleeping position for the spine as it receives complete support in its natural curve.
  • Prevents back and neck pain.
  • Reduces sleep apnea and snoring.
  • This is the best sleeping position for pregnant women.
Cons:
  • As your top leg does not get enough support, the chances are high that you may develop back or hip pain.
  • Side sleeping can lead to skin aging, facial wrinkles, and sagging breasts.
  • It can cause neck pain.
Solutions:
  • As this position can cause neck pain due to improper support to the neck, it is recommended to use a big pillow.
  • Place a pillow between your thighs to support your top leg.

4. YEARNER POSITION

The yearner position is actually sleeping on the left side with the arms outstretched. It is recommended to lie on your left side to better rest your vital organs.
Pros:
  • Prevents neck and back pains.
  • Lying on your left side can reduce acid reflux.
  • Helps reduce sleep apnea and snoring.
  • Relieves heartburn.
  • Allows the body to clear waste from the brain more efficiently and decreases the risk of developing disorders like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
  • Research shows that people sleeping in this position are less likely to wake up in the middle of the night. This is most likely due to the comfort the body gets.
Cons:
  • Restricts the proper flow of blood and puts pressure on the nerves, which may result in pain in the shoulders and arms.
  • Nerve compression may place a strain on internal organs like the stomach, liver, and lungs.
  • Can cause saggy breasts and premature skin aging.
Solutions:
  • Sleep on a satin pillowcase to reduce the chances of facial wrinkles.
  • Place a pillow between your knees to support your upper leg.

5. FETAL POSITION

The fetal position involves sleeping with your knees drawn towards the chest and your chin down. It’s incredibly popular with women and experts suggest sleeping on the left side due to the benefits it offers.
Pros:
  • Reduces snoring considerably.
  • One of the preferred positions for pregnant women.
  • Sleeping on the left side can help reduce acid reflux.
Cons:
  • The extreme curl can put a strain on the neck and back, thereby causing pain.
  • This position, like other side-sleeping positions, can cause skin wrinkles and saggy breasts.
Solutions:
  • Use a firm pillow to support your head.
  • It is recommended that people sleeping in this position alternate sides during the night.

6. FREEFALL POSITION

Lying flat on your stomach while sleeping is not the best sleeping position, and most experts advise against it.
Pros:
  • In some cases, it has been found to reduce snoring.
Cons:
  • Puts a strain on the spine and causes pain in the neck and lower spine.
  • Since the blood circulation is cut off from the face, it leads to the development of wrinkles.
  • Puts unnatural stress on the internal organs.

Sleeping in a cold room helps you go to sleep quicker and removes stress

Posted by InfoBook on July 26, 2020
Sleeping hasn’t been that easy ever since I decided to move in with my wife. After being used to sleeping alone in a double-sized bed, I had to figure out how to make room for two. Besides the bed problem, here is another issue that we had in the beginning when we first started living together. I found out that she likes to keep the air conditioner on and at a low temperature, which I wasn’t comfortable with at first. I mean it was summer and I had to put on two covers sometimes, due to the coldness of the room during the night. But now, according to a scientific fact, it turns out that sleeping in a cold room, is better for your health and it helps you sleep earlier.

We as human beings have a constant body temperature of 37 degrees Celsius, beside the high and low peak that our temperature reaches in the afternoon and at 5 am. Scientists have found out that when our body temperature drops, this makes us able to fall asleep earlier and besides that, it has some other health benefits.

Sleeping in a cold room can help with stress since the fall in your body temperature, decreases the stress hormone. Not only that but for those that are on a diet and are looking to lose some weight, sleeping in a cold room is advisable since it burns calories. Well, now my wife has a scientific reason to keep the air conditioner on at 20 degrees Celsius and have a good rest, while I still have to adapt to that.

9 things I stopped doing that helped my depression and anxiety

Posted by InfoBook on May 24, 2020
Here I will list the 9 things I stopped doing that helped my depression and anxiety.

There was a lot of things i was doing when I was depressed and anxious that I did not realize were affecting my mental health.

Stopping these 9 bad habits really helped my depression and anxiety and I hope by sharing they can help you too. So let's dive in...

Alcohol

I drank way too much when I was depressed and I used alcohol as my escape, but more often than not it made me worse. I would cry and become more depressed and hangovers were the worst! Plus, when i was intoxicated I would act in embarrassing ways, which was not me. Giving up alcohol while I was recovering was one of the best decisions I made.

Social Media Usage

The internet is great! But it can also be damaging to mental health. I found that ti was causing me to become more depressed as I looked at other people perfect lives. So, i decided to stop using social media as much and limited my time while using it. I also repeated to myself that people only show the good stuff online and social media is not always reality.

Staying Up Late

Sleep is so important for your overall health and well-being.
I used to stay up until the early hours of the morning, watching t.v or on my phone.
Not only was the blue light from screens affecting me, but also the lack of sleep made me more anxious and depressed. I decided to set a bedtime of 10.30 pm and it made a massive difference to how I felt in the morning.
I still go to bed by 10.30 pm and it is key in feeling good the next day.

Junk Food

I think this is a no brainer, but junk food is not good for your health. There are studies that show a link between junk food consumption and mental  illness. Plus, I was using junk food as a way to drown out my feelings. I was emotional binge eating and it had to stop! So, i stopped the takeaways, ,ilk and anything with sugar in. It was actually much easier giving up junk food as I had stopped drinking alcohol.

Coffee

You may be thinking coffee?
Well, coffee contains a lot of caffeine which acts as a stimulant. I was using coffee to keep me awake and i was drinking too much. Too much coffee is not good for health and can actually increase anxiety. So, i gave up coffee and swapped it with Matcha latte which not only tastes good but has awesome health benefits too!

Comparing Myself

I used to compare myself to everyone!
And all it did was make me feel bad about myself. We are all different, on different paths and we should never compare ourselves to anyone.
If you want to change something to be healthier and more successful do it. But do not change it to be like someone else. I stopped comparing myself and started living my life how i wanted to live it and I felt so much better for it!
I stepped into my power as a man and became my true self. I share the tools on how to become confident and feel worthy in your own skin in my course Aligned Goddess. Aligned Goddess is now open for the waitlist.

Complaining

Oh jeez! I complained a lot! Like every day.....
Even every hour of every day! I was annoying myself it was so bad. Well, complaining never made me feel any better. It always made me feel worse.
When i stopped complaining I started to feel so much better! Yes it was hard to give up such a bad habit, but i tried really hard and it got easier and easier.

Beating Myself Up

Kinda like comparing myself, beating myself up was not making me feel good!
I was beating myself up for feeling unwell and not feeling like i wanted to do anything.
When i stopped beating myself up, I started to give myself self-love and care and honored where i was at in my life. I knew that giving myself love and care would help me recover and that is what I did.

Worrying

Yes it was hard to stop worrying.
At first I would pay attention to my thoughts of worrying and then I would question myself if my thoughts were true.
Why am i worrying? Is it true? etc...
Then in time I used mindfulness to stop myself from worrying about the past or future and became present in the moment. I explained everything I did to stop worrying in my eBook Free your mind.
By stopping worrying I was able to enjoy life more, say yes to more experiences and be happy again.
If you are ready to take your personal growth to the next level, create a positive thinking mind and build your self-confidence, then The Positive Thinking Academy is for you.

You can read more about The Academy here. I'd love to see you on the inside and teach you how to create a positive mind.

I Know It Is Hard

I know that it will be hard to give up your bad habits, but it is a must to start your recovery.
Think about it...

You cannot keep doing the same things and expect to change. So, take it step by step and stop one bad habit at a time.
It will get easier and in time you will be able to swap all your habits.

Genetically hailed diseases cause this dental problem as well. Several people suffering from this disease due to a genetic problem. This problem is carried on generation and has practically lesser methods of cure.

10 Warning Signs That Your Heart Doesn’t Work Properly

Posted by InfoBook on May 21, 2020
Here’s a list of 10 warning signs that indicate improper functioning of the heart:

1.Aching In The Shoulder And Chest

Chest pains, especially on the left side of the chest near the heart, have been a sign for a potential heart attack. The pain induced due to the death of heart muscle cells. Tightness and strain on the heart can sometimes be so painful and discomforting that the pain can move its way to the upper torso, especially the shoulder area. This is known as angina, which is associated with pain that is directly related to the irregular and interrupted blood flow to the heart.
Sharp pain in the shoulder doesn’t direct towards a problem with the heart, but a slow and gradual building of pain in the shoulder area may be a sign of unhealthy heart issues.

2.Snoring And Sleeping Problems

Sleeping problems like insomnia and sleep apnea, a disorder where you experience disruptions in your breathing while you sleep, have been directly associated with heart disease and other cardiovascular issues.
Episodes of sleep apnea, which can make sleepers to wake up gasping for air, is a cause of inconsistent sleep patterns that can be stressful on the heart.
There is also a disorder known as obstructive sleep apnea, which is directly related to high weight and obesity—two of the leading factors that lead to heart disease. OSA occurs when “weight on the upper chest and neck blocks the flow of air,” causing anxious sleeping patterns. Once sleep apnea has been treated, doctors have noticed a decrease in patients’ blood pressure.

3.Difficulty With Sexual Function

Erectile dysfunction—the inability to hold an erection firm and long enough for sex—can be an early warning sign of current or future heart problems. ED can be caused due to an improper relationship between the flow of blood from the heart to the penis, indicating a possibility of atherosclerosis—the narrowing of arteries and a cause for heart disease.

4.Irregular Heartbeat

An irregular heartbeat, formally termed as “arrhythmias,” which means that your heart isn’t pumping sufficient blood at its normal rhythm. While you can be healthy, you can still have a case of an irregular heartbeat, it is also a sign for heart failure or an impending heart attack. “High blood pressure and coronary artery disease (blockage in the tubes of the heart) are the main reasons for blood vessel disorders” like an irregular heartbeat, said the Heart Rhythm Society.

5.Sore Gums And Jaw, Mouth Problems

You may be wondering, how could sore gums mean there’s a problem with the heart? It’s not precise to say that if you have a gum disease like gingivitis, then you definitely have a heart problem. But doctors have found gum diseases and heart issues are associated with each other.
Pain running from the heart up to around the jaw area is a very common symptom of a heart attack, especially in women. Jaw ache alone isn’t a strong symptom for a heart attack but rather an issue with your temporomandibular joint (TMJ). When jaw ache is paired with chest pain or other signs on the list, that’s when it becomes a matter of concern.

6.Puffy Legs And Feet

Swelling of the legs and feet can be a critical indication of heart failure. You may notice your lower extremities becoming more swollen gradually when you take off your shoes and/or pants off at the end of the day.
Similar to the pain in the chest and torso, the swelling of the legs and feet are a result of improper blood flow to the heart. Because blood isn’t flowing out as it’s supposed to, blood also isn’t flowing back in properly as well. This causes clogging of the blood or completely stop your heart from working.

7.Shortness Of Breath And Fatigue

You have breathlessness during any sort of physical activity (most commonly), at rest, or while sleeping, which may occur suddenly and wake you up.
You need to be propped up after facing difficulty in breathing while lying flat.
You wake up feeling extremely tired or restless after sleeping through the night.
Blood vessels can hold back due to an unhealthy heart, and it starts spreading to places it shouldn’t be, like the lungs. This causes shortness of breath.

8.Dizzy/Lightheadedness

Feeling dizzy or lightheaded—or even fainting—can be a major sign that blood flow to the brain is obstructed, which is a primary cause for strokes and heart attacks. Dizziness and fainting can also be caused by a decrease in blood pressure. “Dizziness, especially when standing up too quickly, is a very common symptom for people with heart failure,” according to one study.

9.Persistent Cough

A cough is not always a sign your heart has a problem, because it’s a symptom of many common illnesses like a cold, the flu, and bronchitis. A never-ending persistent cough can be a sign of fluid building up in your lungs, which is a sign of congestive heart failure.

10.Random Bouts Of Cold Sweats

Sweating is a natural, healthy function the body goes through in order to cool itself down. Sweating, especially cold sweats, may be a problem with your heart when you’re not engaging any sort of physical activity, particularly when there’s chest pain associated with it. The sweat may come within your body in order to cool down the inflammation around the heart.
These are few of the many signs to look out for. If you experience any of these symptoms then consult your healthcare provider as soon as possible.
